PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The Associate Local Account Executive (Jr. AE) position is an entry level position into our sales
organization. The goal of this position it to teach and train qualified and talented candidates the
necessary skills required to be an Account Executive in Comcast Spotlight.
A successful candidate for this team must have the ability to:
Effectively communicate orally and in writing with internal and external clients.
Plan, organize, and prioritize effectively.
Cope with tight deadlines and stressful situations.
Work well in a team environment but own tasks and take responsibility as an individual
Actively embrace all facets of customer focused selling.
Identify and cultivate direct client relationships from the ground up.
In addition to the above, fundamental day-to-day responsibilities are:
Assist Account Executive(s) with order entry and traffic continuity
Processing Orders, Modifications, Cancellations, and Production Orders
Assist Account Executive(s) with various research tasks: (Matrix, Strata One, CDRs, etc.)
Cold Calling / Setting Appointments
Conduct Customer Needs Assessments Meetings
Create Proposals and Marketing Recaps for New and Existing Clients
Assist internal and external clients in attaining their goals through proper utilization of
Comcast’s products and services.
Maintain up-to-date customer and prospect records as instructed
Minimum Requirements include:
Excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills
Computer proficiency
Bachelor’s Degree &/or 5+ years successful experience in business to consumer outside sales
Ability to manage and prioritize high-volume work load
Hunger for constant learning, mastery of skills and integrated applications
Tech savvy
Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
