Summary of Intern's Duties, Activities, & Training:
Work closely with Comcast Bay Area Sports Sales Manager to develop custom Sports sponsorship proposals for major Regional, National and Local client base.
Provide inventory analysis of Comcast Sports programming, including ESPN Sunday Night
Football, CSBA and CSCA Sports SF Giants, Oakland A's, SJ Sharks and GS Warriors, as well as TNT and ESPN, NBA and NBA Playoffs, Golf and Tennis Major Events, X Games, NCAA
Football and College Bowl Games.
Where appropriate, accompany Sports Sales Manager on Client and Agency sales calls and presentations.
Assist in creating effective Sports promotions for Local and National clients.
Assist in providing timely analysis of Sports Nielsen Ratings, Scarborough (audience qualitative) and CMR (competitive media reports) for Sales.
Identify Sports Client prospects & categories for Comcast's 1.8MM Bay Area homes, for both
Market wide and Zone sponsors.
Required/Desired Skills or Background for This Position:
Solid proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint preferred.
Enthusiasm and passion for sports, as well as a good general.
Knowledge of Cable Sports programming and Networks essential.
Rate of Pay/Stipend : $10/hr
Approximate Weekly Work Schedule: Three eight hour days a week
