Primary Purpose - Process and execute Client contracts for commercial advertisements to air on cable and satellite networks in a Designated Market Area and Region. This would include On Air, On Demand and Online.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Review client advertising contract within sales automation software for accuracy
- Export client advertising contract from sales automation software into T&B system, confirm contract is imported, and approved
- Confirm accuracy and deliver client contract confirmations to Account Executive after processing in the T&B system.
- Be able to manually create an order within the T&B system
- Communicate regularly and effectively with Sales Department regarding the status of a client’s advertising schedule, including commercial advertisements that were not scheduled or broadcast as purchased
- Export from sales automation software and/or manually input into T&B system any revisions to the Client advertising contract as required.
- Process and distribute daily notification of missing copy instructions beginning with one week prior to air and up until contract start deadline.
- Input the titles of client advertisements into T&B system and enter the copy instructions for advertisements airing on the appropriate zone/region, network, date and time.
- Process a daily verification report and reconcile against client advertising contract. Review and manage unverified spots daily.
- Responsible for maximizing billing opportunities by evaluating sold and scheduled inventory and adjusting commercial placement within schedules manually on a daily basis.(manipulating schedules)
- Assists in maintenance of Master Client Files.
- Facilitates communication with MCC, Clients, Ad Agencies, Account Executives regarding late or missing content and video conflicts.
- Handles billing inquires from Account Executives.
- Back up for team members as needed.
- Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance is required. Must be available for overtime or extended hours, as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Some media and/or traffic experience including experience in a customer service setting.
Education
- High school or equivalent
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
- Stress Management Skills
- Strong detail orientation. Ability to analyze and process a large amount of information to meet daily deadlines
- Media Traffic software knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer skills necessary to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Windows, Outlook.
